CAREERWORTH LEGAL
Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: September 21, 2026
Welcome to CareerWorth. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of CareerWorth.io and the products, reports, tools, data, analysis, recommendations, and other services provided through CareerWorth (“CareerWorth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”).
By accessing CareerWorth or purchasing a CareerWorth product, you agree to these Terms.
1. CareerWorth Provides Informational Guidance
CareerWorth provides career-related information, labor market data, compensation information, career intelligence, and data-informed analysis designed to help users make more informed career decisions.
CareerWorth is intended to provide data with context. Our services are informational and educational in nature and should be considered one source of information among the many factors that may influence a career, employment, compensation, or negotiation decision.
CareerWorth does not provide legal, financial, tax, investment, or other professional advice.
2. No Guarantee of Employment or Career Outcomes
CareerWorth does not guarantee any employment, compensation, promotion, career advancement, negotiation result, job offer, hiring decision, career transition, or other professional outcome.
Career outcomes depend on numerous factors outside CareerWorth's control, including individual qualifications and experience, employer decisions, economic conditions, geography, labor market conditions, negotiation circumstances, and other factors.
Any actions you take based on information provided by CareerWorth remain your responsibility.
3. Compensation and Labor Market Data
Salary estimates, wage information, employment projections, career pathways, cost-of-living information, occupational comparisons, scores, benchmarks, and other information provided by CareerWorth may be based on government data, third-party sources, statistical analysis, artificial intelligence, algorithms, estimates, assumptions, or combinations of these sources.
Although CareerWorth seeks to provide useful and reliable information, labor markets change continuously and data may be incomplete, delayed, estimated, or subject to error.
CareerWorth therefore does not warrant that any salary, compensation, employment, career-path, or labor-market information is complete, current, or applicable to every individual situation.
4. CareerWorth Scores, Comparisons and Recommendations
Any CareerWorth score, career comparison, career pathway, negotiation guidance, recommendation, or similar output represents a data-informed assessment rather than a prediction or guarantee.
Users should exercise their own judgment and consider their personal circumstances when making career decisions.
5. Negotiation+
Negotiation+ provides information and guidance intended to help users better understand and prepare for employment and compensation discussions.
Negotiation+ does not guarantee that an employer will increase compensation, modify an offer, provide additional benefits, accept a user's request, or reach any particular negotiation outcome.
CareerWorth is not acting as the user's representative, agent, attorney, recruiter, or employment adviser in any negotiation.
6. Trajectory+
Trajectory+ provides data-informed career exploration and career-path insights.
Suggested occupations, pathways, skills, opportunities, or career directions should not be interpreted as guarantees that a user will qualify for, obtain, enjoy, succeed in, or receive particular compensation from any occupation or career.
6A. Personal CareerWorth Assessment
The Personal CareerWorth Assessment evaluates self-reported career-profile signals against available labor-market evidence. Its score and estimated market range are modeled decision-support outputs, not a credit score, psychometric assessment, employment qualification, appraisal, employer pay band, hiring probability, or compensation guarantee.
“CareerWorth” in this product refers only to labor-market position and opportunity. It does not measure a person's intrinsic worth, character, intelligence, dignity, or future potential. Anonymous peer benchmarking is not part of the current assessment and will require an appropriate permission and privacy framework before any future introduction.
6B. My CareerWorth and Economic Mobility
My CareerWorth allows a user to maintain a personal CareerWorth Profile, save purchased reports, review confirmed career history and view modeled economic-mobility relationships. Creating an account is optional and is not required to use CareerWorth's free tools.
CareerWorth's CareerWorth Mobility Graph models potential career relationships and opportunities using user-provided information, occupational information, labor-market data and CareerWorth methodologies. Displayed pathways, classifications, compensation ranges and opportunities are estimates and do not predict or guarantee that a user will qualify for, obtain or succeed in any particular occupation.
Mobility pathways may include possible bridge or destination careers. They are not individualized hiring decisions, observed worker transitions, or instructions to leave a current role. Missing evidence may limit or change the opportunities displayed.
7. Artificial Intelligence
CareerWorth may use artificial intelligence and automated systems to analyze information and generate personalized insights.
AI-generated information can contain inaccuracies or unexpected results. Users should independently evaluate important information before making significant employment, financial, educational, or career decisions.
Sam, the CareerWorth Navigator, uses artificial intelligence to provide informational explanations and product guidance. Sam is not a human career counselor, attorney, financial adviser, recruiter, or representative, and a conversation with Sam does not create a professional, fiduciary, employment, or advisory relationship.
8. User-Provided Information
CareerWorth outputs may depend upon information provided by the user. Users are responsible for providing accurate information.
Users are responsible for reviewing and correcting information extracted from a résumé or otherwise used to create or update a CareerWorth Profile. CareerWorth does not treat automatically extracted information as verified merely because it was identified by software or artificial intelligence.
CareerWorth is not responsible for inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading results caused by incorrect or incomplete user inputs.
9. Purchases and Digital Products
Certain CareerWorth products are offered as one-time digital purchases. Prices are displayed before purchase.
Because personalized reports and analyses may be generated or made available immediately following purchase, purchases may generally be non-refundable once the personalized product has been generated or delivered, except where required by law or where CareerWorth determines that a refund is appropriate.
10. Referral Partner Program
Approved U.S. referral partners may receive $4 for each eligible completed Personal CareerWorth Assessment, Trajectory+, or Negotiation+ purchase attributed to their unique code. Commissions remain pending for 30 days, are subject to a $25 minimum payout balance, and are ordinarily processed monthly on the 15th. Refunded, disputed, fraudulent, reversed, or unpaid transactions are not eligible.
When a purchaser enters a referral code, the purchaser acknowledges that CareerWorth may show the referral partner the purchaser's name, report product, purchase date, and commission status for internal validation. Private report inputs, résumé content, reports, recommendations, email addresses, and payment details are not provided to the referral partner.
11. Enterprise Partner Credits
Organizations may purchase prepaid Personal CareerWorth Assessment, Trajectory+, or Negotiation+ report credits for use by eligible participants. Credits do not expire while CareerWorth continues to offer the applicable product, but they have no cash value, may not be resold, and may be used only through authorized organization staff accounts and CareerWorth report assignments.
Organization administrators are responsible for managing staff access and promptly deactivating users who no longer require access. CareerWorth may suspend an assignment, user, or account when reasonably necessary to address suspected fraud, misuse, unauthorized distribution, payment disputes, or security concerns.
Creating an assignment reserves one credit for the selected report and participant. An unused credit is returned when an active assignment is revoked or expires; a completed assignment converts the reservation into a redemption. The sponsoring organization may see the participant's name, product, assigning staff member, assignment status, and relevant dates, but it does not receive the participant's inputs, résumé, report, or recommendations through the partner dashboard.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CareerWorth and its owners, affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, and service providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or similar damages arising from or related to your use of CareerWorth or decisions made based upon CareerWorth information.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, CareerWorth's aggregate liability arising from a paid CareerWorth product will not exceed the amount you paid CareerWorth for the product giving rise to the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such liability cannot legally be excluded or limited.
13. No Warranty
CareerWorth is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, CareerWorth disclaims warranties regarding the accuracy, completeness, reliability, availability, or suitability of its services and information for any particular purpose.
14. Intellectual Property
CareerWorth's website, branding, reports, scoring systems, analysis, presentation, software, written content, and other proprietary materials are owned by or licensed to CareerWorth and are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.
Purchasing a report gives you the right to use that report for your personal use. It does not transfer ownership of CareerWorth's underlying intellectual property.
15. Changes to These Terms
CareerWorth may update these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on CareerWorth.io with a revised effective date.
Continued use of CareerWorth following an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms where permitted by law.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Idaho, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
